Advocacy Network for Children is hiring a full-time CASA Volunteer Development Specialist.
The CASA Volunteer Development Specialist plays a key role in strengthening our CASA volunteer program through recruitment, training, engagement, support, and retention. This position is ideal for a motivated, creative professional who enjoys building relationships, connecting with the community, and developing new strategies to engage volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, modern strategies to recruit qualified CASA volunteers
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, and other recruitment partners
- Coordinate and support initial and ongoing CASA volunteer training
- Develop individualized strategies to engage, support, and retain volunteers
- Collaborate with CASA leadership, Coordinators, current volunteers, board members, and community partners
- Assist with marketing, outreach, and volunteer recruitment efforts
- Identify new opportunities and approaches to strengthen and grow the CASA volunteer program
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively recruit, engage, train, and support individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Skills in marketing, recruitment/sales, creativity, decision-making, initiative, innovation, and leadership
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to take initiative and increased responsibility to achieve program goals
- Strong commitment to the mission and goals of Advocacy Network for Children and the CASA program
