GIVSCO Construction Company, an Illinois based General Contractor, is currently seeking an energetic, dependable, Project Manager to join its growing organization. This position is responsible for the following duties:
· Management of project contract, Owner and architect relations, labor, sub-contractors and materials procurement
· Project scheduling
· Equipment utilization and material handling
· Project Estimating
· Developing and maintaining customer relationships
· Productivity Analysis
· Help direct and maintain an efficient and effective labor force to meet job completion dates.
· Administer/cooperate in safety program to minimize job site accidents
· This position is "mobile" in nature will require movement from market to market (Central Illinois) as projects start and finish
Requirements
· 4 years plus of construction experience and with an Engineering, Construction Management or relevant degree is preferred.
· Government and Design-Build experience is wanted but not required.
· Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Experience with Project Management Software.
· Ability to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule ensuring that all deadlines are met.
· Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.
· Proven success motivating team efforts.
· Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast-paced environment.
