CNC Lathe Set-up/Operator Precision Aerospace
Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating CNC lathes. This role is essential in ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet precise specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents.
- Program CNC machines
- Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for fabrication tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist with materials handling and packaging of finished products.
Qualifications
- Must have 5 years experience as a Lathe Operator in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC Lathes.
- Strong understanding of mechanical concepts, tooling, and factory processes.
