Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our innovative healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver high-quality patient care across diverse settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and physical examinations to assess mental health status and physiological conditions.
- Prescribe medications within scope of practice, adhering to DEA regulations and state laws, including medication management for acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and wellness.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across disciplines such as psychiatry, primary care, behavioral health, and specialty services to ensure integrated patient care.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records.
- Perform procedures including suturing, IV infusion, venipuncture, catheter care, and sterile processing when necessary to support patient needs.
- Participate in telehealth consultations to expand access to mental health services and provide remote patient assessments when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with certification as a PMHNP or FNP from an accredited program.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for efficient documentation and patient management.
- Knowledge of pharmacology, medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and physiology relevant to mental health care.
- Experience with medication administration including injections and IV therapy; familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about treatment options and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Additional experience in behavioral health settings such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, or assisted living facilities is highly desirable.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
