Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist servers with food running duties to enhance guest satisfaction and service speed
- Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to uphold cleanliness standards
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and special dietary options to assist guests effectively
- Communicate clearly with team members using POS systems such as Toast POS or Resy for order accuracy and guest requests
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is REQUIRED; eagerness to learn is key
- Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS or Resy is a plus
- Experience in banquet service, hotel hospitality, or culinary roles enhances your ability to excel here
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food presentation techniques
