The Coordinator of In-Theatre Sales is a key resource for the theatres, and is accountable for establishing and fostering consistent communication between Corporate MJR and the Theatres. This position reports to the Director of In-Theatre Sales and collaborates with internal and external partners to execute ITS programs and training of new Theatre ITS employees, new theatre openings etc.
The "ITS Coordinator" is actively involved, working "hands-on", and spends as much as 40% of their time in the theatres with the daily operating team.
Providing assistance, support and troubleshooting as first point of contact for daily requests
Ensuring regular communication between Regional ITS team and theatre ITS budget-owners
Assisting theatres with budget management for ITS-related items
Acting as liaison with distributors for product damages, shorts, overages, returns, etc.
Managing inventory order processes and reviewing for potential optimization opportunities
Supporting the ITS Director with the creation and distribution of new or existing content to theatres (New Programs/ Roll-outs, SOP, Changes, Concession Merchandising, training, etc.)
Assisting General Managers with development and support of theatre ITS budget-owners
Overseeing ITS Vista database including; setup, management and support for all items
Coordinating with suppliers to liaise equipment orders, deliveries and setup (new theatre openings, renovations, construction, etc.)
Managing ITS meeting agenda, recording and distributing meeting minutes
2 years in a Food Service role with MJR Theatres or similar experience preferred
ServSafe Certified: Food, Allergen, and Alcohol (TIPS Certification acceptable)
Experience with all USDA, MDARD and internal food concepts preferred
Post-secondary education in a relatable field preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and ability to learn new software
Comfortable presenting recommendations/advice in areas of expertise
Experience following or beginning level understanding of managing budgets, targets & results
Proven success managing or leading within similar industry: food service industry or food service within theatre environment
Excellent communications skills: written/verbal
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Driven to succeed and take initiative
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
