We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the West Jefferson area. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in industrial maintenance who are comfortable interpreting technical manuals and have their own set of tools. The position is based in West Jefferson, OH 43162, offering a pay rate of $25.00/hr for a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 2:30pm.
Core Manufacturing Maintenance

Diagnose and resolve issues with motor controls.

Manage transformer maintenance.

Perform general mechanical repairs.

Utilize experience with CNC electrical controls to improve system uptime.
Facility Upkeep

Execute plumbing repairs as needed.

Handle various carpentry and painting tasks.

Ensure the fire safety system, including PIVs and extinguishers, remains fully operational.

Oversee the upkeep of air compressors.

Support the maintenance of all buildings, grounds, and equipment, including tasks performed at elevated heights.

Operate and maintain forklifts and rigging equipment to assist in machine placement.

Apply expertise in 3-phase electric motors and machine controls to keep operations running smoothly.

Perform medium to heavy lifting as required by daily tasks.
Fabrication Tasks

Diagnose and repair general machinery to ensure peak performance.

Analyze drawings, sketches, and plans to establish effective working procedures.

Operate equipment within the tool and machine room.

Perform steel welding using ARC, stick, oxy/acetylene, and plasma cutting tools.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics

Service all hydraulic and pneumatic components.

Install new hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Rebuild valves and pumps to extend the lifespan of hydraulic and pneumatic hardware.
