Job Details:
Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: West Jefferson, OH 43162
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot motor controls to maintain operational efficiency.
- Work with transformers to ensure stable power distribution.
- Address mechanical issues to keep equipment running smoothly.
- Assist in CNC electrical controls and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Facility Maintenance Tasks:
- Handle plumbing repairs and installations as needed.
- Perform carpentry and painting tasks to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Maintain fire suppression systems, including PIVs and extinguishers, ensuring safety compliance.
- Keep air compressors in optimal condition through regular maintenance.
- Maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment, including tasks at elevated heights, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
- Operate and maintain forklifts and rigging equipment for safe machine placement.
- Apply your knowledge of 3-phase electric motors and machine controls to ensure efficient operation.
- Utilize medium and heavy lifting abilities to support maintenance activities.
Fabrication Duties:
- Diagnose and repair general machine and mechanical issues to reduce equipment downtime.
- Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and plans to accurately determine working procedures.
- Operate tool and machine room equipment to fabricate and repair components.
- Perform steel welding using ARC and stick equipment, including oxy/acetylene and plasma cutters, to fabricate and repair metal structures.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics Responsibilities:
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic components to maintain system integrity.
- Install new hydraulic and pneumatic components to upgrade or expand systems.
- Rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic valves and pumps to ensure optimal performance.
