Position Overview:
As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician assistant, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to children from infancy through adolescence. You will diagnose, treat, and educate patients and their families on a range of pediatric health issues. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering compassionate care, advocating for patient health, and building strong relationships with families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and health histories for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, injuries, and developmental issues.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions as appropriate.
- Provide preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and health education.
- Counsel patients and families on lifestyle modifications, health promotion, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health records (EHR) Athena
- Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric care and medical practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician assistant (PA) through an accredited certification board.
- Valid state RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Physician assistant (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of pediatric healthcare, medical practices, and patient care procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
