United Bank & Trust is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Teller to join our Concordia location. As a Teller, you will be the face of our bank, responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling routine financial transactions with accuracy and professionalism. You will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring compliance with all banking policies and regulations.
Responsibilities

Accepts deposits, confirming the accuracy of the transactions.

Prepares, verifies and issues money orders, cashiers checks, and redeems savings bonds.

Conducts check cashing transactions by verifying customer identity and ensuring all transactions are property authorized.

Enters transactions in bank’s recordkeeping system, recording all transactions and producing customer receipts.

Prepares settlements for teller cash and proof transactions.
-
Recognizes and capitalizes on opportunities to promote the bank’s services and refers customers to other products and services.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Must demonstrate adherence to compliance policies and main confidentiality

Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Exhibits a strong work ethic and commitment to responsibility.

Previous banking or cash handling experience is advantageous but not essential.
