Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our vibrant hospitality team at the BRAND NEW TRU in Valparasio. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional breakfast service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision, ensuring adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling standards
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, well-presented, and replenished as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment, following food safety management protocols
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace when setting up or clearing tables and stations
- Operate POS systems efficiently for guest transactions while maintaining accuracy in order processing
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food preparation, serving, and sanitation practices, including proper use of catering and banquet equipment when applicable
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling techniques is essential
- Experience with wine knowledge or barista skills is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Culinary experience or dietary aide background can enhance your fit for this role
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety management practices and hospitality standards- Servsafe certifed is a plus! We also will invest in you obtaining your food handlers certificate.
