Now Hiring: Experienced Security Officer (optional) – Café/Art Gallery (Greenwich Area, NYC)
We are seeking a mature, experienced Security Officer (optional) to work at a café/art gallery located in the Greenwich area of NYC. This is a private facility where you will be providing security coverage and also overseeing food that will be sold on-site. To be eligible for this assignment, you must have a Food Protection Certificate (FPC).
The ideal candidate will be professional, personable, and comfortable working in a customer-facing, creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor the premises to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Process occasional art sales, including:
- Taking credit card payments
- Recording buyer’s name and shipping address
- Placing “SOLD” stickers on purchased pieces
Schedule (Part-Time):
- Monday - Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Compensation:
Requirements:
- Valid Security License (optional)
- Food Protection Certificate (FPC) – required*
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Basic math skills
- Minimum of 3 years of security experience
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality are a must
