We are seeking an ambitious Sales Associate to join our team and become a part of an innovative, fast-paced environment. The Sales Associate will assist in our Work Boot Department servicing customers and processing Industrial Sales transactions. A successful candidate will possess strong communication and problem solving skills. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and great organizational skills, as the position works closely with other Sales Associates to create a strong, cohesive sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of customer service related to the sale of shoes and work boots.
- Provide customers with clothing or shoe styling advice.
- Provide Industrial Work Boot Accounts with proper footwear for the job environment.
- Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications.
- Keep inventory, track sales, and perform administrative tasks.
- Practice industrial sales lead development.
- Organize and categorize merchandise.
- Enter customer information and sales into POS, process payments, balance cash drawer.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in retail sales and customer service
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Experience with POS systems and product demonstrations
