Now Hiring: Entry-Level / Skilled Automotive Mechanic
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated mechanic to join our team. We are open to both entry-level mechanics looking to grow their skills and experienced mechanics who can confidently handle a variety of automotive repairs.
Required Basic Skills
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of vehicle repair and be comfortable performing or learning:
- Basic vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Oil changes and routine maintenance
- Tire plugs and tire repairs
- Tire mounting and balancing
- A/C system testing and basic A/C diagnostics
- Wheel bearing replacement
- Radiator and cooling system repairs
- Basic brake and suspension work
- Battery replacement and basic electrical troubleshooting
- General inspection and identification of common vehicle problems
Engine removal and installation is not required, but it is strongly preferred for candidates who have the experience or ability to perform this type of work.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who knows their way around vehicles, is willing to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider someone with entry-level automotive knowledge who is dependable and eager to improve.
The right candidate should:
- Be reliable and show up ready to work
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Stay productive and find things to do during slower days
- Take pride in keeping the shop and work area clean and organized
- Be willing to learn new skills and take on different types of repairs
- Have a good attitude and strong work ethic
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be able to operate a plow truck during the winter season
