Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to child welfare and a desire to foster a love of learning in young children. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for infants to school-aged children, utilizing effective lesson planning and child management policies. A qualified candidate will be able to meet the requirements for a NJ Child Care Group Teacher, such as a CDA certificate.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Provide attentive care to students, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents about their child's achievements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- Proven experience working with young children in childcare
- Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and child welfare practices.
