Position Summary
At Rea Financial, we believe that the relationship with a client doesn't end when a plan is put in place — it deepens. The Advisor is the person who makes that belief real. This role owns the ongoing experience for Rea's existing clients, ensuring they are consistently heard, informed, and confident that their Purpose-Driven Retirement Plan™ is working for them. The right candidate is a licensed, relationship-driven professional who thrives on follow-through, communicates with warmth and clarity, and takes genuine pride in helping clients live long and finish strong — year after year.
Key Responsibilities
Client Review Management
- Own the annual and semi-annual client review process from scheduling through delivery — preparing materials, running meetings, and ensuring every client leaves with clarity and confidence.
- Prepare comprehensive review packages including portfolio summaries, plan updates, and relevant financial data that reflect each client's current situation and evolving goals.
- Conduct client review meetings independently, guiding meaningful conversations about progress, upcoming milestones, and any adjustments needed to keep the plan on track.
- Follow up after every review with a written summary of key decisions, outstanding action items, and next steps — holding the firm accountable to every commitment made.
- Proactively identify moments in a client's life — retirement transitions, RMD milestones, beneficiary changes — that warrant an unscheduled touchpoint or plan update.
Ongoing Client Service & Communication
- Serve as a trusted, accessible point of contact for existing clients, handling service requests, account questions, and day-to-day needs with professionalism and genuine care.
- Maintain a consistent cadence of proactive outreach — check-ins, milestone acknowledgments, and meaningful touchpoints that reinforce the client's confidence in Rea Financial.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and thoroughly, escalating to the lead advisor when appropriate while ensuring the client always feels supported in the meantime.
- Coordinate with the Client Service Associate team to ensure service requests, account changes, and distributions are executed accurately and on time.
- Contribute to the firm's gifting and personalization strategy, identifying opportunities to celebrate client milestones and deepen relationships in a way that reflects who Rea is.
Financial Plan Maintenance & Updates
- Monitor and update client financial plans on an ongoing basis, incorporating changes in income, expenses, health, family dynamics, and market conditions.
- Assist clients with the setup and management of annuities, life insurance, and investment accounts as their plans evolve over time.
- Ensure Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) are flagged, communicated, and processed for applicable clients in a timely and compliant manner.
- Collaborate with the lead advisor on more complex planning scenarios, bringing relevant client context and contributing to the overall strategy.
CRM & Documentation
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all client interactions, meeting notes, and plan changes in the firm's CRM system.
- Document all service activity, follow-up items, and review outcomes consistently so every team member has full visibility into each client relationship.
- Ensure all client communications, plan documents, and disclosures meet compliance requirements prior to delivery.
- Identify patterns in client needs or service gaps and surface them to leadership as opportunities to improve the firm's overall client experience.
Team Collaboration & Culture
- Work closely with other Advisors and Client Service Associate team to create a seamless, cohesive experience for every client at every stage of the relationship.
- Participate in team meetings and planning sessions, contributing insights from client interactions that inform how the firm can serve people better.
- Bring an ownership mindset to every aspect of the role — taking initiative, following through without being chased, and holding yourself to the standard clients deserve.
