JOB OVERVIEW: Exemplar Health Benefits Administrator is a TPA of self funded employer group health plans that is dedicated to providing exceptional services and delivering unparalleled customer experiences.
The Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact for our valued customers. The representative will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service
Responsibilities
- Connect with participants via telephone, email, online inquiry to provide support and information on plans and services
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with customers
- Ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve customer questions
- Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries or comments
- Educate participants on their plan options and guidelines
- Complete assigned daily task: processing returned mail, following up with voicemails, process incoming faxes
- Stay updated on plans and services
- Work closely with Manager and team to provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Proven customer support experience or experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills including active listening
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Service-oriented
- Patient and Empathetic
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software; experience with plan administration software a plus
- Ability to learn and understand Exemplar Health plans
- Any other duties as assigned
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
