About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Bakersfield yard. In this role you will oversee safety, storage, detailing, and loading of pools, spas, and equipment to meet shipping schedules. You will ensure loads meet DOT requirements and work closely with logistics, production, and maintenance to keep product moving safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily yard operations with a focus on safety, quality, and respect for the team.

Inspect pools prior to loading and report any damage or defects to Manufacturing.

Plan and oversee loading, staging, and movement of pools, spas, and equipment to meet shipping schedules and DOT requirements.

Create daily work plans and coordinate with Logistics and Customer Service.

Manage trailer preventive maintenance.

Maintain a clean, organized work area and drive continuous improvement.

Communicate regularly with the General Manager and work overtime as needed to meet schedules.
Skills & Qualifications:

Supervisory experience.
-
Skilled at operating lift trucks, cranes, and Sky Tracks.

Working knowledge of DOT regulations.

Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal.

Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.

Effective communication skills and a positive, dependable attitude.

Punctuality and reliable attendance.

Pay Range: $25 - $30 hourly
