How You’ll Make an Impact: This role is responsible for managing the efficient and effective processing of loan applications while delivering exceptional service to clients and internal stakeholders. By implementing streamlined workflows and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, the Loan Operations Manager aims to enhance the overall quality and speed of loan operations.
Key Responsibilities

Develops and implements strategic plans and operational policies for the loan operations department, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall objectives.

Analyzes industry trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for improving loan processing efficiency and enhancing service delivery.

Collaborates with senior management to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of loan operations.

Implements workflows and procedures for loan processing, documentation, and funding to ensure timely and accurate execution of loan transactions.

Monitors team performance and productivity, providing insights and corrective action plans to improve operations and meet established targets.

Coordinates with sales, underwriting, and risk departments to facilitate smooth loan processing and resolve any operational issues that may arise.

Oversees the daily operations of the loan processing team, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout the loan lifecycle.

Requirements
Required Education: Technical Studies
Possible Degrees: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Banking and Financial Services Management
Other Education: N/A
Required Years of Experience in Position: 3+ Years
Languages: English and Spanish (Preferred)
Technical Knowledge and Skills

Loan Operations and Servicing Expertise: Strong knowledge of commercial and consumer loan processing, documentation, boarding, funding, servicing, and loan lifecycle management.

Banking Regulations and Compliance: Knowledge of applicable banking regulations, lending guidelines, audit requirements, and internal controls to ensure compliance throughout the loan process.

Loan Systems and Technology: Proficiency with core banking systems, loan origination systems (LOS), document management platforms, workflow tools, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Data Analysis and Performance Management: Ability to analyze operational metrics, monitor KPIs, identify process improvement opportunities, and generate reports to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
