$20.00–$25.00 per hour | Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Position Summary
We are looking for a highly capable quality control technician to join our business's production division. You will be performing quality checks on our finished product, performing counts, and packaging small quantities of product. Our ideal candidate will have manufacturing quality control experience, but we are open to training the right person. This position reports to the Quality Control Manager - Print. This position will work 2nd shift (1:15pm – 9:45pm), Monday through Friday. This is a non-supervisory position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with quality control and shipping duties.
- Ensure products are finished to meet/exceed client standards.
- Detect and report defective or questionable material, product, and/or conditions to the Department Manager.
- Perform assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks.
- Update productivity records.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the work area clean and organized.
- Minimize and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
- Maintain all tools and equipment in clean, safe, working order.
- Maintain a safe work environment for self and others when performing job functions.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in performing quality control procedures and meeting production standards.
- Keen attention to detail
- Working knowledge of computers and office software.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Great communication and collaboration skills.
- Can work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Background check required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in commercial art and/or printing environments
- Familiarity with Sage 100 software
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility with quality control duties primarily in an office setting
- Exposure to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration
- Moderate noise level (hearing protection not required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift
- Frequently lift or move items up to 35 pounds
- Visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
