Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a pristine, welcoming environment across various facilities. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all spaces meet high standards of sanitation and appearance. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors across different areas such as residential spaces, commercial buildings, or hospitality settings.
- Handle sanitation tasks such as disinfecting surfaces, waste disposal, and maintaining hygiene standards in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct outdoor cleaning activities like trash collection, window washing, and maintaining outdoor walkways or patios.
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed.
- Use manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning or rearrangements.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of chemicals and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to specific cleaning requests or special needs from clients or staff while maintaining a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
- Experience with laundry services and custodial responsibilities is advantageous.
- Previous hotel or hospitality industry experience is a plus but not required.
