Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Rough & Finish Plumbing Installer, specializing in new home construction! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential buildings from the ground up. Responsibilities
- Install rough plumbing systems including water supply lines, drain-waste systems, and vent piping according to blueprints and schematics
- Perform finish plumbing tasks such as fixture installation, pipe threading, and connections to ensure a polished final appearance
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and pipe threading equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs as needed during construction phases
- Utilize construction experience and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues on-site and ensure compliance with local building codes
- Assist with remodeling projects or upgrades by assembling plumbing components and integrating new systems into existing structures
Skills
- Extensive construction site experience with residential plumbing projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras
- Strong understanding of water systems, drainage solutions, HVAC integration, and plumbing schematics
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations related to plumbing installation
- Mechanical aptitude with pipe threading, system maintenance, repair techniques, and schematics reading
- Experience operating company vehicles for material transport or site visits
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation processes
- Carpentry or handyman experience beneficial for remodeling or framing tasks
- Heavy lifting capability and familiarity with construction safety protocols
