Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet shoppers, answer product-related questions, provide recommendations, and direct customers to specific items in the store. Provide outstanding customer service from greeting the customer, taking and filling their order. Obtain and package customer's orders according to their specifications
- Stocking & Merchandising: organize and refill cases as needed, and stock shelves according to store guidelines. Rotate stock and "face" items (pull products to the front) to keep shelves looking full and appealing.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, identify out-of-stock items, and inform management of low supply.
- Quality Assurance: Check products for freshness and expiration dates. Discard damaged or expired items according to company policy.
- Sanitation & Safety: Sweep, mop, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean shopping environment. Promptly clean up spills and adhere to OSHA and Federal Food Code guidelines. Maintain a clean workspace.
- Front-End Support: Depending on the shift, may operate a cash register, process transactions, bag groceries, or collect shopping carts from the parking lot.
Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, frequently bend, and lift heavy items (often 20 to 50 lbs.).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the public and coworkers in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to Detail: Important for reading expiration dates, ensuring accurate pricing labels, and rotating stock properly.

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
