American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with an active NJ license and ARRT certification for a hospital Radiation Oncology department with advanced modalities including IGRT and SBRT.

Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department setting
-
AM shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm or 8:00am–4:00pm
-
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
-
No nights, weekends, or holidays
-
Float to a nearby sister hospital may be required as needed
-
No on-call requirements
-
Uses MOSAIQ for treatment management and charting
-
Uses Epic for electronic medical records
-
Active New Jersey Radiation Therapist license required (license required if applicable)

Current ARRT certification and registration required
-
Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program required
-
Experience with IGRT and SBRT required
-
Experience with CT simulation and respiratory gating required
-
Experience with MOSAIQ preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

Deliver planned radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators with advanced modalities including IGRT, SBRT, and portal imaging
-
Perform CT simulation following department and site-specific protocols, including respiratory gating, AcQ simulation, and SBRT simulation setups
-
Construct immobilization devices, electron and cerrobend blocks, and properly bill for special devices and simulation procedures

Perform daily and monthly linac and CT QA, including CT laser QA and mould room duties
-
Maintain and verify all aspects of MOSAIQ including treatment calendars, patient schedules, prescriptions, photos, DRRs, and portal imaging

Verify physics and physician treatment planning parameters and attend weekly chart rounds

Accurately document daily treatment plan monitor units and recognize and implement changes to treatment plans

Adhere to department dress code, safety standards, ALARA principles, and correct body mechanics procedures

Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from their initial start date; a break period is required before returning
