Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour
We are seeking a dependable and guest-focused Shuttle Driver / Public Area Attendant to join our team.
This position plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience by providing safe transportation services, assisting guests with luggage, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to Director of Rooms and Executive Housekeeper
- Safely transport guests to and from designated locations using the hotel shuttle.
- Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all guests.
- Assist guests with luggage and hotel information as needed.
- Maintain shuttle cleanliness and conduct routine vehicle inspections.
- Report any vehicle maintenance concerns promptly.
- Assist with guest arrivals and departures, including luggage assistance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of hotel public areas, entrances, meeting space corridors, and back-of-house areas.
- Assist housekeeping and engineering departments with special projects and guest requests.
- Deliver guest amenities, cribs, rollaway beds, and other requested items.
- Remove trash and assist with general hotel upkeep.
- Follow all hotel safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Must be insurable under the hotel's vehicle insurance policy.
- Previous hospitality, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Schedule Requirements:
- This position is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. However, hospitality is a business driven by guest needs, and schedules may be adjusted based on occupancy levels, special events, staffing needs, and operational demands.
- Candidates must be flexible and willing to work occasional weekends, holidays, alternate shifts, or overtime as business needs require.
