Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Oasis at the Conch Republic, a premier Assisted Living Facilities in Key West, Florida. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC repairs
Inspect and maintain facilities, identifying and reporting any needed repairs or maintenance
Conduct troubleshooting and diagnose issues with equipment and systems
Perform minor renovations and modifications to facilities as needed
Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm, sprinkler, and life safety systems
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including logs and reports
Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, dietary, and recreational services to ensure seamless operations
Respond to resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred
2+ years of experience in a maintenance or related role
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
