Job Summary
Botanico Mexican Kitchen & Bar has immediate openings for part-time Server Assistants who bring great energy and strong work ethic. As a Server Assistant, you'll play an essential role in creating an exceptional dining experience by supporting our servers, bartenders, and kitchen team. We’re looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love creating memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support servers by delivering food promptly and accurately to guests.
- Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining room.
- Refill beverages, chips, salsa, and other guest requests as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, server stations, and service areas.
- Stock ice, glassware, to-go supplies, condiments, and other restaurant essentials throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth service.
- Help maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests whenever assistance is needed.
- Jump in wherever needed to support the team during busy service periods.
Basic Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required, we're happy to train motivated individuals.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout a shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish).
- Experience as a busser, food runner, server assistant, or in another hospitality support role.
