What You'll Do
- Assist residents with daily activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care
- Build genuine connections with residents and treat every interaction with warmth and respect
- Keep accurate care records and follow each resident's individualized service plan
- Communicate daily with the Resident Services team to keep care consistent and coordinated
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, coworkers, and visitors
- Support activities and day-to-day operations within the neighborhood
What You'll Need
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of related healthcare experience
- Ability to complete required dementia training (for Ensemble/Memory Care programs)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy
Nice to Have
- CPR/First Aid certification
- CNA or NA license/certification in good standing (as required by Virginia state law)
- Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
