Registered Nurse (RN) | On-Call
Salary: $39.90/Hour | Full-time
Schedule: Friday 5p - Monday 8a
Location: Redding, CA & Surrounding Areas
Must have Home Health or Hospice Experience
As a Registered Nurse (RN) | in home health and hospice you will be called to care when you are needed most. As part of Interim Healthcare Home Health, you will support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients. This is a full-time position working as an on-call nurse between the hours of Friday 5:00pm to Monday 8:00 am.

As a Registered Nurse (RN:
Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider’s prescribed plan of care (and nursing scope of practice) while closely monitoring progress/recovery

Assess and document patient conditions and report change as needed (vitals, blood/stool/urine, glucose, etc.)

Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids, documenting thoroughly

Inspect and care for wounds, changing dressings and assisting with personal hygiene

Assess patient for further injuries, infections, bedsores, etc. and deliver appropriate treatments

Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient

Participates in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program

Supervises paraprofessional and licensed professional team members
To qualify for a Registered Nurse (RN):

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and has a current license as a Registered Nurse in CA

Two (2) years of current nursing experience preferred

Must have Home Health or Hospice experience

Community Health and a wide range of Medical Surgical experience preferred, not required

Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check, Physical, TB & Drug Screen

Must have a current Driver's License and reliable transportation
