In this energetic role, you will operate and maintain a variety of printing and finishing equipment, interpret production documents, and ensure that every project meets our rigorous standards for color accuracy, quality, and precision. Your expertise will help bring creative visions to life, supporting marketing campaigns, print advertising, and custom print solutions with efficiency and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate large-format printers, digital presses, and other printing and finishing equipment to produce vibrant, high-resolution prints.
- Manage color calibration and color management processes to ensure consistency across all printed materials.
- Interpret production documents, layouts, and specifications accurately to execute print jobs flawlessly.
- Perform mechanical adjustments and routine maintenance on industrial equipment to optimize performance and prevent downtime.
- Execute cutting, paper binding, machining, and finishing tasks such as trimming, folding, and assembling printed products.
- Install and assist with installation of vinyl and signage, including acrylic signs and 3 dimensional acrylic letters.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify defects or inconsistencies and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with graphic design teams using Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for printing while maintaining layout integrity and typography standards.
- Adjust machine settings for optimal print quality, including calibration of large-format printers.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety protocols while handling manufacturing and industrial equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements for efficiency and quality.
Experience
- Proven experience operating printing machinery such as large-format printers, digital presses, or other printing related machinery in a manufacturing or commercial print environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as prepress software tools.
- Knowledge of color management techniques to ensure accurate color reproduction across various media.
- Familiarity with layout design principles, typography standards, and print advertising requirements.
- Experience interpreting production documents such as job tickets, specifications sheets, or technical drawings.
- Ability to perform precise cutting, binding, machining, and finishing operations with attention to detail.
- Technical proficiency in digital printing processes including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of digital presses and/or large-format printers.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
