As a head teacher, you would be responsible for leading the classroom and creating a comforting and nurturing environment. You would follow curriculum based on Illinois Early Learning Standards while engaged in active play.
Daily responsibilities:
- Teach and instruct the daily lessons
- Engage in active play
- Serve snacks and lunch
- Clean and organize your room
- Provide a comfortable and caring environment
- Provide basic care for the well-being of the children
- Work well with other staff members while reporting to the director
Requirements:
- 6 credit hours directly related to childhood education and development
- 60 credit hours of college coursework
- Transcripts
- CPR/First aid (can provide training)
- 20 hours of continued training while employed
Minimum pay starting at $18.25 an hour with a higher pay rate offered to those qualified!! We offer paid holidays and PTO. We can also assist with school funding as well as professional development!
