Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 1 Friday a month (No weekends, 8-hour days)
Pay: $16.00 – $23.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Job Description & Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a passionate Hygiene Assistant / Sterilization Technician for our North Raleigh practice who is caring, compassionate, and has a genuine concern for others. In this role, you will support our hygiene team, ensure seamless patient flow, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Ensure our patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and prepared for their hygiene appointments.
- Work closely with dental hygienists and providers to support a variety of preventive and clinical procedures.
- Create a positive, stress-free patient experience that encourages optimum oral health.
- Strictly comply with all safety procedures, infection control protocols, and regulations (i.e., OSHA, HIPAA).
Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Assist dental hygienists with patient turnaround, charting, and maintaining an efficient schedule.
- Sterilization: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms in strict accordance with safety guidelines.
- Dental Radiographs: Safely take and expose high-quality dental X-rays.
- Documentation: Review, enter, and update patient dental and medical histories accurately.
- Supplies Management: Set up and prepare hygiene trays, track inventory, and keep clinical areas fully stocked.
- Front Desk Cross-Training: Assist with checking in patients and answering basic inquiries when needed to support the team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- NC X-ray Certification (Required).
- Current CPR Certification (Required).
- Experience in the medical or dental field preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Familiarity with dental software (Eaglesoft) is a plus, but not required.
