Ascendia is seeking a Quality Control Property Inspector, who will play a crucial role in ensuring our vacation rental properties meet the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and guest satisfaction. This is a part-time independent contractor opportunity, with the opportunity to become a full-time employee.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Travel between properties within your assigned territory inspecting properties for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and overall readiness.
- Performing minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and troubleshooting small maintenance issues.
- Reporting major maintenance concerns and coordinating with the appropriate teams for prompt resolution.
- Ensuring inventory is stocked and all appliances are in working order before guest arrivals.
- Occasionally, assist with the preparation of welcome bags.
- Managing property staging to create a welcoming and visually appealing environment.
- Delivering requested items to guests to enhance their stay and provide exceptional service.
- Maintaining accurate records of inspection findings, maintenance requests, and inventory levels.
- Working closely with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth property turnover.
- Perform detailed inspections of properties after the cleaning crew complete their job making sure that nothing slips through the cracks.
- Ensure the property is well equipped with items that guests will need on their vacations.
- Perform minor maintenance; batteries, light bulbs, trash cans to the curb when needed.
- Create and deliver guest welcome bags to the unit.
- Know the property, WiFi, TV's, keyless entry, thermostats, electrical panel, etc.
- Perform inventory inspections during off-season.
- Record and report all maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
- Basic maintenance knowledge and the ability to perform small repairs.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- The ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Employee must have a Mobile device with data plan that allows them to be access the internet during inspections.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per inspection
$25.00-$35.00 for light maintenance
