Job Title: LPN Harbor House
Job Summary:
Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for immediate hire for our residential drug treatment program. LPN'S who are interested in pursuing a career in the behavioral health and addiction field are encouraged to consider available positions with Argus Community, Inc. Our OASAS - licensed residential treatment program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conducting initial health and ongoing clinical assessments.

Overseeing administration of medications and monitoring adherence.

Coordinating medical treatment and follow up with community medical providers.

Working closely with consulting psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Ensuring seamless procurement of prescription medication from partnering pharmacies.

Maintaining records as per state and agency regulations.

Providing training for program staff.
-
Meeting with directors and program staff to ensure continuity of care.

Providing emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
-
Related duties as assigned.

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications/Criteria:
NYS LPN license; experience in working with mentally ill chemically dependent adults; basic computer literacy; CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR; ability to work under stress; ability to communicate effectively with residents and health care professionals; flexibility and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
