Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and other various welding techniques to join various metals with precision
- Use hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and other equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Operate forklifts, rigging equipment, and overhead cranes
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine inspections of tools and equipment
Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant experience as a welder
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Technical training or welding certifications are preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques with the ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and schematics effectively for precise fabrication work
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks
