Matt’s Appliances is looking for a responsible, reliable, and experienced Truck and Trailer Supervisor to join our growing team.
This position is responsible for safely transporting appliances, equipment, and materials between company locations and other assigned destinations. The Truck and Trailer Supervisor will operate their assigned truck and trailer while also helping coordinate and supervise other truck/trailer drivers, helpers, equipment, and daily transportation operations.
The ideal candidate has experience driving with a trailer, understands safe loading and unloading practices, can lead a small team, and is comfortable with heavy lifting and hands-on work. This role requires strong communication, a clean driving record, and the ability to work well with supervisors, team members, and customers when needed.

Must currently have or have previously held a Class A driver’s license.
Safely drive a truck and trailer to company locations and assigned destinations.
Load, secure, transport, and unload appliances, equipment, and materials.
Supervise and coordinate other truck and trailer drivers as needed.
Oversee daily transportation equipment, trailers, tools, and related operations.
Work with a helper during loading and unloading.
Use dollies, straps, ramps, lift gates, and other equipment safely and properly.
Perform heavy lifting and assist with moving appliances and equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained truck and trailer.
Inspect vehicles, trailers, straps, dollies, and equipment before use.
Communicate clearly with supervisors, drivers, helpers, and other team members.
Follow assigned tasks, routes, schedules, and safety procedures.
Report vehicle, trailer, equipment, or safety concerns promptly.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive attitude within the transportation team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must have or have previously had a Class A driver’s license.
Minimum of 2 years of truck/trailer driving experience preferred.
Experience loading, securing, and transporting heavy equipment or appliances preferred.
Basic knowledge of equipment, tools, straps, dollies, and safe loading practices.
Ability to lift at least 100 pounds.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Friendly, patient, and able to work well with others.
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving of heavy appliances and equipment.
Ability to lift 100 pounds with assistance or proper equipment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the workday.
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions as needed.
Comfortable using dollies, straps, ramps, and trailer equipment.
