Certified Scrub Technician (CST)
Location: Franklin, TN
Schedule: PRN, Monday–Thursday 0630-1500 (8-10-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Certified Scrub Technician (CST) to join our surgical team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and alongside our surgeons to maintain a sterile environment and provide technical support during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical suites and instrumentation for procedures
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases
- Anticipate surgeon’s needs and pass instruments and supplies efficiently
- Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping under RN direction
- Participate in safe and efficient OR turnovers between cases
- Inspect, maintain, and help track surgical instruments and supplies
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and compliance standards
- Processing instruments according to AAAHC, CMS, CDC, and AAMI guidelines
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA
- Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS a plus)
- Minimum 1–2 years of surgical scrub experience (ASC and/or plastic surgery preferred)
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative safety protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
