Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Teacher to join our team (No experience required). In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged from infants to toddlers. You will play a crucial role in their early childhood development, ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they need to thrive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and experience working with children with diverse needs.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to create an inviting space for learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support children with disabilities or special needs.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential.
- Background in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Be on time and have a consistent work schedule.
- Experience in infant care, toddler care, or caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is highly desirable.
- First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
