Responsibilities:
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance document, handling phone calls, collecting payments.
- Administer inhalation treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Deliver excellent patient service by greeting and preparing patients for their appointments, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information accurately
- Utilize your knowledge of human physiology to assist with various medical procedures and treatments
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for patient care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
-Maintain a clean and organized work space and patients rooms
-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
-Knowledge of EMR software use
Experience:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in administering medications and performing vital signs measurements
- Familiarity with coding systems such as CPT and ICD-10
