Overview
We are seeking a skilled, team player, dependable and reliable full-time
Roll Off Driver with some experience is highly recommended!
Ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks, to transport waste and debris from customer locations to disposal sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate roll-off trucks .
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Safely load and unload containers at customer sites using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards at all times.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving heavy vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
