Job Summary
· The QC Black Production Inspector ensures that products meet predefined quality standards and customer specifications through the implementation of robust quality control processes.
· This role is emphasizing inspection, testing, and verification activities while driving initiatives to minimize defects and ensure operational excellence.
· This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that products are manufactured to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
■ Safety: Ensuring safety always remains the top priority for the department.
■ ISO9001 Standard: Ensures adherence to the ISO 9001 standards which we are accredited to.
■ Quality Inspection: Performs incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
■ Documentation: Maintenance of comprehensive records of inspection results and quality metrics by using Auto Tower Doc. System/Customer preferred systems.
■ Non-Conformity: Reporting of non-conformity which are found during inspection or monitoring and check and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
■ Regulatory Compliance: Complete all inspections and documentation in alignment with applicable regulations.
■ Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the production process. Provide guidance on quality standards and best practices.
■ Continuous Improvement: Participate continuous improvement initiatives in the quality control process to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize efficiency. Promote a culture of quality within the organization.
■ Customer Feedback Management: Assist with customer complaints or concerns related to product quality, investigate the root causes, and implement solutions to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
■ Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in manufacturing, welding, or quality control is preferred.
■ Experience: Experience on the shop floor in industrial manufacturing environments.
■ Knowledge: Understanding of welding, painting, mechanical background and quality control methodologies, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with industry-specific standards and certifications (e.g., ISO, AWS) is preferred.
■ Skill: Hands-on experience with inspection tools.
■ Language: Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
■ Training and Certifications: Completion of relevant certifications or training in IMS management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 Lead Auditor, CWI (Certified Welding Inspector), NDT, NACE and/or FROSIO, APQP4Wind, NEBOSH IGC and etc.) are preferred.
Physical Demands
Ability to work on the production floor and perform inspections in varying environmental conditions (e.g., outdoors, noisy environments, lifting and bending tasks).
Work Environment
Working in the fast-paced, global wind power industry, you'll collaborate with teams from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Heavy industrial work environment, loud machine noise from production floor, exposure to welding flash and grinding sparks.
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
