Chiropractic Assistant — Part-Time

Spine Up is hiring a Part-Time Chiropractic Assistant!
We’re looking for an energetic, dependable, organized, and people-focused Chiropractic Assistant to join our St. George team.
This is a hands-on clinical position working directly with patients and providers. You’ll help treatments run smoothly, keep patients moving efficiently through the office, and create an outstanding patient experience.
Schedule
Part-Time Position
- Tuesday: approximately 2:00–6:00 PM
- Thursday: approximately 2:00–6:00 PM
- Some Saturday mornings: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Some flexibility with ending times may be needed depending on patient flow.
This could be a great position for a college student, pre-health student, exercise science/kinesiology student, personal trainer, or someone interested in chiropractic, physical therapy, rehabilitation, or healthcare.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical Support
- Assist chiropractors and providers with day-to-day patient care
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for appointments
- Set up and supervise spinal traction and corrective chiropractic procedures
- Set up cervical and lumbar traction equipment according to provider instructions
- Supervise patients during therapeutic and corrective exercises
- Teach and reinforce provider-prescribed exercises
- Assist with stretching, mobility, posture, and rehabilitation programs
- Monitor patients during treatments and communicate concerns to providers
- Help patients understand the flow of their care
- Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
X-Ray & Imaging
- Prepare patients for chiropractic X-rays
- Properly position patients for ordered X-ray views
- Operate X-ray equipment when properly trained and legally permitted
- Follow radiation safety procedures and office imaging protocols
- Keep the X-ray room clean, organized, and ready for patients
- Assist with imaging workflow and documentation
- Complete required X-ray training/certification as applicable
Traction, Exercise & Rehabilitation
- Set up cervical and lumbar traction
- Follow provider-specific traction protocols
- Clean and reset equipment between patients
- Supervise corrective exercises and rehabilitation programs
- Demonstrate exercises and ensure proper technique
- Document completion of prescribed treatments and exercises
- Encourage patients and help them stay consistent with their care plans
Patient Experience
- Greet patients with a friendly, positive attitude
- Build relationships with patients and make them feel welcome
- Help appointments stay on schedule
- Answer basic questions regarding treatments and office procedures within the scope of the position
- Communicate patient questions or concerns to providers
- Help create the upbeat, health-focused environment we want at Spine Up
Cleaning & Office Responsibilities
Everyone on our team helps keep the clinic clean and organized.
- Clean and sanitize treatment tables between patients
- Clean traction and exercise equipment
- Keep treatment rooms organized and stocked
- Perform routine office cleanup
- Take out trash and complete basic cleaning duties as needed
- Restock clinical supplies
- Help with laundry and linens
- Maintain organized equipment and storage areas
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
Administrative & Team Support
- Assist with scheduling and patient flow as needed
- Help answer phones and communicate with patients
- Assist with patient forms and information
- Enter accurate information into office software
- Maintain organized patient documentation
- Help the front desk during busy periods
- Participate in staff meetings and training
- Complete assigned daily and weekly checklists

Preferred Qualifications
Experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person.
Backgrounds that could be a great fit include:
- Chiropractic Assistant
- Medical Assistant
- Physical Therapy Aide
- Rehab Technician
- Exercise Science/Kinesiology student
- Pre-PT, Pre-PA, Pre-Med, or other healthcare student
- Personal Trainer
- Fitness or gym experience
- Customer service experience
