Maintenance Technician – Ideation
This position will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Maintenance Department, Production, Packing, and overall facility with ongoing and new projects and daily duties in a bakery food production/ plant environment. The Maintenance Techs primary responsibilities are to support the production and packing departments in the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of the machinery. They will also be the liaison between vendors and company representatives on any new installations, and stay on top of learning any newly installed equipment to minimize downtime. In addition, Techs will assist in the training of all personnel on all equipment in the building. The Maintenance Tech will also maintain records of departmental activities to track status of projects, priorities of projects as well as any data collected. All applicants must be willing to work at any level of project execution ranging from planning to clean-up and everything in between.
Must have open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Ideation PM programs
· Ensures all equipment is tagged and updated on the asset list,
· Develops and ensures adherence to the PMI schedule,
· Maintains Inventory on all tools, equipment, spare parts, and orders supplies as needed,
· Encourage positive relationships with contractors, equipment vendors and service providers,
· Programs Ideation Equipment Maintenance software with all equipment and corresponding supplies and issues weekly/monthly analytical action and progress reports.
Works with QA, production, and Sanitation to ensure maintenance is compliant with all food safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs and their attendant intervention systems.
· Maintenance assists in cross training teams and initiates corrective actions for ongoing compliance.
· Conducts training sessions to ensure companywide standardization.
· Communicates compliance matters to senior leadership.
Reporting Responsibilities (Additional reports will be required based on company’s needs)
· All Subsequent reporting that is necessary for full compliance under AIB, HACCP programs, and Ideation Food safety programs.
· Ensuring compliance and full understanding of the following programs and governing bodies:
· AIB – BFA, GMP’s, BRC and SQF
· HACCP
· NSF – With applicable equipment and partners
· FDA and Bioterrorism
Understanding Customer requirements
· Understanding the needs of the customer and their specific market segments.
· Participating in interactions with Sales Associates and Customers to provide appropriate product information; network with sales and broker representatives to understand issues and opportunities.
Physical Functions require
· Operation of industrial production and packaging machinery including industrial ovens
· Physical ability to move around the facility in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
· Ability to bend, stoop, and twist with repetitive motion that demands the use of fingers, hands, wrists, arms, and legs
· Standing for long periods of time (8-10 hours)
· Sitting for long periods of time (2-4 hours)
· Frequent movement of large ingredients that weigh 50+ pounds
Position minimum requirements:
Experience:
· Strong analytical and problem- solving skills with proven ability to organize tasks by priority
· Proficient knowledge of Excel, and Microsoft Office tools
· Proficient Math skills

Hours and Compensation:
- Position: Full-Time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
