Excellent opportunity for a candidate to oversee a third-party contract for the Hunterdon County LINK system. Candidate will prepare and submit grant requests to access Federal and State transportation funding. Oversees county transportation meetings, monitors and evaluates existing transportation system and routes. Collaborates with local agencies to improve transportation options for community members including the general public, people with disabilities and seniors. This position requires daily interaction with passengers, the public and the third-party vendor. Candidate will be responsible for community outreach, to educate residents about the LINK and receive feedback regarding LINK services.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in transportation, contract management, or public administration.
