Front Desk Receptionist/Call Center Representative - Join Our Patient Relations Team!
Professional VisionCare is thrilled to welcome a Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist/Call Center Representative to our Patient Relations Team at our Westerville location! We are a thriving optometry practice dedicated to improving lives through exceptional vision care, and we’re proud to offer PAID training to all new team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing the happiest, most helpful care to every patient.
- Manage patient check-ins and verify demographic information.
- Maintain and update patient charts and office records with accuracy.
- Verify vision benefits and insurance coverage, including pulling authorizations as needed.
- Handle patient payments with precision and record them accurately.
- Respond to patient inquiries with outstanding follow-through and care.
- Efficiently schedule and confirm appointments to optimize patient flow.
- Operate a multi-line inbound phone system (high call volume similar to a call center environment).
- Perform administrative tasks such as new patient tracking and follow-ups for special testing.

- Provide friendly, empathetic, and thoughtful customer service, even in challenging situations.
- Be eager to learn new skills, work independently, and adapt to new processes.
- Be available to work five full shifts per week, including Saturdays (with one weekday off each week).
- Thrive in a team-oriented environment and enjoy positivity and encouragement.
- Experience in a call center setting is preferred, but not required.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 7:45 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday/Saturday: 7:45 AM–1:30 PM
- Every Sunday and one weekday off per week.

- Our practice has locations in Johnstown, Westerville, and Lewis Center. We are hiring team members who have reliable transportation and are willing to work at all locations on a regular basis. Please confirm if you are able to commute/work in all locations.
