Degree Requirements:
Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
PLEASE READ: **You must have a CTRS Certification for this position. If you are scheduled to take the CTRS exam soon you may still apply and be eligible to be hired under supervision of our CTRS**.
RT Responsibilities:
- Works in collaboration with other members (Therapists, Supervisors, Case managers, Behavior consultants, Staff) and implements a recreational intervention plan which is tailored to each individual and his/her daily activities.
- Maintain and organize schedule and caseload of individuals.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement therapeutic recreation interventions for individuals on your caseloads.
- Create individualized goals and treatment plans for each client based on needs and abilities.
- Complete quarterly reports every 3 months during plan year for client.
- Submit all billing documentation (progress notes, quarterly reports, billing unit sheets).
- Have opportunity to grow within the company.
