We are looking for a part-time or full-time Physical Therapy Aide to join our growing team. An ideal candidate would be available most afternoons.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Physical Therapy Aide to join our exemplary team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working directly with patients and an aptitude for physical therapy exercises or have a base knowledge in fitness, anatomy and physiology or kinesiology. This position requires the successful candidate to work directly with patients, assisting during physical therapy sessions. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, responsible and dedicated to the needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patient and family.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and record on exercise sheets
- Assisting with linens
- Work under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Apply modalities such as but not limited to, electrical stimulation, traction, ice packs, hot packs and paraffin wax
- Maintain clean treatment rooms between patients and gymnasium at all times
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem, PRN
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
