About us
Springfield Smiles Family Dental, TMJ, Sleep Center is the general dental practice of Dr. Christian Victor, and our great team! We provide Orthodontics, TMJ, and Sleep Apnea services in addition to general dentistry.
We have once again been nominated for Best Dentist in Springfield (official 2026 winners announced in October). We love our patients, and we love what we do to help them!
Schedule:
- We typically work ~34 hours per week with Fridays off.
- Our hours of operation are 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday and Wednesday, and 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday, and Thursday.
- We are looking for someone to be a full time part of our team!
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Take digital x-rays as directed by the supervising Dentist
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Maintain strict HIPPA and OSHA standards
Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology a plus
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays; ability to learn new programs as necessary. Knowledge of Eaglesoft is preferred
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support and education
License/Certification:
- Dental Radiology License
- Coronal Polishing (Preferred)
