American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry unit position at a Level II Trauma teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and comfort with neurology and neurosurgery patients.

Patient population includes neurology diagnoses and neurosurgery patients requiring familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale

Patient ratio of 1:4

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)

Every other weekend required
-
Floating required between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

No on-call required
-
Block schedules not required
-
Charting via Epic (experience required)

Active WA state or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of telemetry RN experience required

Comfort with NIH Stroke Scale, neurology diagnoses, and neurosurgery patients required

Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

13-week contract (approximately)

Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible if previously employed there as permanent staff

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
