Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of concession items, including snacks, beverages, and quick-service foods, following all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of concession stands, including food handling, bussing tables, and sanitation duties.
- Manage cash handling procedures with accuracy, balancing registers at the end of shifts.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness throughout your shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during high-volume periods while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments is preferred but not necessary
- Demonstrated ability to handle retail sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Prior retail or grocery store experience that involves cash handling and basic math skills will support success in this role.
