Common Restaurant is looking to add to our kitchen team and is seeking experienced candidates for the line cook position.
The line cook position is an integral piece of our team and is responsible for creating beautiful food in a quick and efficient manner in the production kitchen. Line cooks may also assist to prep in the prep kitchen for regular service or special events. Dedicated line cooks may also participate in special events. Our kitchen team is goal oriented, communicative, respectful, and effective. Line cooks will be working with an award-winning, tenured chef team and dedicated line cook team.
For this particular posting, we are seeking an experienced line cook with a diverse background in culinary, the ability to lead by example, and a professional attitude.
Line cooks must be able to stand for long periods of time without a break; be able to work in fast-paced environments; be able to walk up and down stairs several times a day; bend, twist, and squat; lift overhead; and lift at least 50 lbs.
